From a Few Hives
to a Purpose.
Our Story
In 2016, a story of a couple from healthcare and medical backgrounds started VY Honey with a simple idea: real health begins with real, clean food.
What began with a few beehives in a backyard was never meant to become a business, just a way to produce pure honey for their own family. In the very beginning, production was entirely done by them, only the two of them, working from their own house in their basement, carefully extracting, filtering, and bottling each jar by hand. It was small, raw, and deeply personal. But the quality spoke for itself, and demand slowly followed.
They chose not to scale through industrial methods. Instead, they built everything around nature, using moving hives, respecting seasons, and producing only what the land allows each year. No fixed volumes. No shortcuts. Only limited, seasonal batches.
Over time, they grew step by step, still working from their own house in the early stages, learning, refining, and working closely with their beekeepers who shared their values. Growth came through patience, not pressure.
Today, it remains a rare, value-driven project focused on purity, sustainability, and authenticity, still growing carefully, one season at a time.
